For twenty years, Mayor Pete Buttigieg composed his tribute to Bernie Sanders and his campaign. If you followed Buttigieg’s relationship with Sanders who spoke glowingly of Sanders’. You can even say he craved attention from Sanders. Now let’s move on to today in 2020. Buttigieg is locked in a tense primary fight with the man he once stood for. Sanders has refocused some of his attacks on Buttigieg, while he now finds himself in the awkward position of striking down the Vermont senator.
What’s so cliche about this election is that Sanders spent most of January attacking Joe Bide. He’s attacks were focused on his social security and foreign policies. For Pete Buttigieg, from the beginning of his entrance, he spends his attacks on Elizabeth Warren. What’s so surprising is that a lot of people including myself slept on Buttigieg. However, Sanders and Buttigieg took the two-way race with their win in Iowa. Which left Biden and Warren in third and fourth. Usually, we will see more public discourse with these two people. However, the only thing Buttiegieg has questioned about Sanders is his inability to help down-ballot candidates and unite the party, which are true. It kinda feels like they were accidental rivals.
The South Bend, Indiana mayor is not an establishment fundraising powerhouse. He was struck a more aggressive ton when discussing Sanders. Basically, hoping to doubt the Democratic voters. We are only at the beginning there will be more coverage of him over the election. We shall see who will be left standing.
